With the temper tantrum Scott had in Toledo at the ARCA race should he be driving a Cup car at Martinsville? He is known as a hot head and an arrogant brat. NASCAR will be a very, very rude awakening for him. I don't see him making it thru the year!I think Scott will do OK. If not, there are sure a lot of "targets" in really close proximity. I do agree that Martinsville is no place to run your 1st race! But, I guess you either go big or go home...dive in with both feet and see how it all turns out.
*JUJU*Idk, Scott is an outspoken person... maybe it is an F1 thing though. We had the same problem with Juan last year. I like Scott though, he'll be more successful than Brian or AJ wasScott's going to be just fine. The last few races of the '08 season is more practice than anything for him, it's not like he's going out there to try and win the championship or anything, just getting a feel for his new ride.
Not sure what temper tantrum we're talking about here, so I'll just leave that one alone.Appearantly you people know nothing of Scott Speed.
probendusa@aol.comAt least the cars should be easy to hit for him if antbody makes him mad. Put your foot on the floor and blow right by them (kinda like I do in NASCAR 09) but watch out for the wall, it comes up pretty quick!
I don't think he'll do to well. All drivers have accidents and fits so Scott will fit right in with the rest of the Cup drivers. I do think they should all start next season and not at Chase races but who am I just a fan, NASCAR ain't gonna listen to me. I don't want a rookie mistake putting someone out of championship contention though I am still looking forward to seeing how well they all do.
My gawd Lenny your answers just take my breath away sometimes. You guys are a hoot. It was fine for Chrissy Wallace when she started at Martinsvillle but not Scott Speed. What temper tantrum? Do you mean the one where someone blatantly took his championship away nad he retaliated like any normal human being would have? Already people hating someone they have no clue about. Of all the tracks on the cup schedule Martinsville is the one that NO driver should have his very first cup start at. Considering the fact that the Nationwide series does not race there and the difficulty in navigating around the tight, flat turns it spells almost certain disaster for any inexperiened stock car driver. I don't think last week's issues will have much bearing at this week's race but he shouldn't be starting this particular weekend in my opinion.
3 STR8 N 08!!!yes. Ricky admitted that he spun Scott out on purpose.good point, I do not think this is a good track to pop his NASCAR cherry...............
Maggie I hope that is a good thing............... :-)i've heard a couple drivers aren't impressed after that outburst...only time will tell#If you have any other info about this subject , Please add it free.# |
